In its efforts towards transforming the Agricultural sector, the Plateau State Government said it would take a loan from African Development Bank,ADB, to enhance its agriculture yield in the State.

Governor Jonah Jang disclosed this yesterday at the Agricultural Training and Services Centre ,ASTC, Shendam, while on an inspection visit of ongoing projects in the State.

He stated that the three ASTCs located in Kassa, Mangu and Shendam were ready for farmers use, noting that outposts would also be built in order to reach out to farmers that were far away from the centres.

Jang further said that there were already many facilities available at the ASTCs for farmers in Plateau, urging them to make the best use of the available opportunities.

The Governor, however, warned that no equipment at the centres would be given to famers on hire.
