Shell Petroleum Development Company has attributed the fresh oil spill in the Taylor Creek in Yenagoa to sabotage.
The company’s spokesman, Precious Okolobo, told the E-Biz24/7 on Friday in Yenogoa that the fresh spill was caused by a third party interference.
The Corporate Media Relations Manager of Shell, Tony Okenedo, said: “Sadly, this spill adds to a rising trend in the area.
E-Biz24/7 reports that the latest oil spill, which occurred on May 6, has impacted on JK4, Betterland, Ikarama and Kalaba communities.
