We’ll continue to invest in Nigeria — Turkish ambassador

Turkish ambassador to Nigeria, Mustafa Pulat, has said despite the security challenge in the country, his home country and investors will continue to invest in Nigeria.

He said in a statement obtained that Turkey had many business interests in Nigeria and Pulat, who noted that the country was conducive to business, said Turkey had many business interests in Nigeria.

Pulat said Turkey would establish a joint Nigeria-Turkish Commission to promote economic cooperation between the two countries.

Pulat, who recently presented his letter of credence to President Goodluck Jonathan in Abuja, said he did not have any apprehension of being posted to Nigeria, notwithstanding the security situation.

According to him, every country has its own problems and Nigeria will not be an exception.
